Compost Manifesto By Marissa Gamberutti

We live in the space between this world and a more beautiful one; we are compost. We dream a brilliant, flourishing world for our descendants, one in which every body has full access to their pleasure, their bliss, their ecstasy. A world in which every body has full knowledge in how to access and cultivate these states of being at will and as often as is nourishing for them. We believe this access and knowledge to be a foundation for a more beautiful world.

We claim and hold sacred the capacity of each body to know what is and is not nourishing, what does and does not work for them. We believe that no body can tell another body what it needs or wants.

We live to leave this world more deeply soaked in joy and pleasure than we find it now. Each small moment of our lives contributes to this dream; we know the rippling power of even the smallest drop.

We take action in right-relation with the past, present, and future. We look to our ancestors and our descendants for counsel when taking action, making plans, dreaming the future. We seek to facilitate right-relation for all body’s with their past, present, and future.

We live to facilitate access to and guidance into the wisdom of the body in its capacity for joy and flourishing, for every body everywhere.

We share knowledge with our peers so that they may become fellow compost and live also in right-relation with this more beautiful world. We educate our peers in contribution to their capacity for pleasure so that they may turn around and share their knowledge with their peers and their descendants. Our clients are our peers, we take these journeys side-by side.

We welcome every body’s truth, every body’s current relationship with their selves, and every flavor of pleasure, bliss, and ecstasy. We celebrate the infinite possible manifestations of these states of being.

We build, love, and make knowing we may not live to see the full fruits of our labor. We do it anyways. We hold in our heart the knowledge that the world we are building already exists outside of linear time. We pull this world towards us through our living and our being.

We honor our yesses and our nos, in order that all of our actions come from a full heart. We are future-dreamers and we know that actions taken from a full-hearted place are lasting and nurtured by time.

We are compost.
